Atlona Technologies Releasing New Down-Converter AT-HD530

Atlona Technologies announced plans to release the AT-HD530, its new down-converter. The unit sends HDMI or DVI digital signals from desired sources such as PCs, Macs, GPS systems, Apple TVs, camcorders, or video games, and down-converts the signal to analog S-video or composite video with audio.

The device converts high-definition television video signals to standard-definition video that can be viewed on conventional television receivers or computer monitors for all users.

Along with a featured HDMI/DVI loop-out, this converter has the ability to support resolutions of up to 1080p for HDTVs and up to UXGA (1600×1200 at 60Hz) with PC or Mac computers. The unit is also able to automatically detect and down-convert resolutions to those of PAL or NTSC formats. The AT-HD-530 will complement almost all computer applications, as well as applications used by broadcasters, video production engineers, and end users.
