Q&A with Eric Harper, SVP, product marketing, Snap One.
Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo 2023?
CEDIA is the industry’s biggest show and we’re always eager to connect with Partners — new and old — to show them the latest product and services developments from our team. This year, we’ll be demoing more than 20 new products across control, networking, audio, video, lighting, and security solutions, as well as showcasing our expanded Partner Support initiatives. We’re excited about the unique opportunity CEDIA gives us to show Partners how to best leverage these cutting-edge solutions for their customers.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
With so many developments across categories, it’s hard to pick one trend for the show this year. That being said, one of the major ones we’re seeing right now is a re-commitment to delivering the best possible smart home experiences by combining cutting-edge tech innovations and exceptional Partner service. Those two go hand in hand and work together to deliver and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction that we’re proud to be a part of.
What will you focus on at the show?
The Partner experience is central to our booth, where attendees can learn how new OvrC remote system management capabilities and the new Control4 OS 3.4.0 software enable more consistent and reliable user experiences. We’re also participating in two CEDIA Smart Stage sessions and hosting a number of training events, making Partner education another key focus for us at the show.
In terms of booth design, this year we’re showing off how our innovative solutions can be deployed throughout the various areas of a home, including a Control Room, an Entertainment Room, and Bar area that showcase every category of smart home technology. Booth visitors will also be able to learn about Snap One’s leading Partner support programs that provide product training, loyalty discounts, installation support, and system design services.
