In our series of #CEDIAShares blogs, we’re talking with exhibitors about the hottest technologies and trends they’re looking to see at CEDIA Expo 2024.
Q&A with Eric Harper, SVP, product marketing at Snap One.
Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo 2024?
At CEDIA 2024, Snap One and ADI’s goal is to underscore the commitment to integrator partners and their businesses. Our companies are complementary in many ways — from the markets we serve and our mix of industry-leading brands, to our physical and digital experiences. Together, we aim to deliver more products and services, more convenience across physical and digital stores, more expertise and support, and more investment in innovation.
Most importantly, we’ll be able to better serve our integrator partners and the industry through our shared commitment to building relationships at CEDIA and helping our integrator partners succeed.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
Integrator partners are increasingly working with end-users who seek products that operate seamlessly under one umbrella, providing enhanced ease of use. Along with increased customization and flexibility, we’ve also seen significant improvements in product compatibility and operating systems.
I’m eager to explore the new and improved product ecosystems and invite you all to demo the latest solutions at the Snap One booth this year.
What will you focus on at the show?
When I entered this industry in 1997 as an integrator, the biggest barrier to growth was finding, nurturing, and retaining quality technicians. This challenge, as old as business itself, has only intensified in today’s increasingly connected world.
At Snap One and ADI, we tackle this challenge head-on in several ways. We take pride in delivering assistance through our award-winning Partner portal and technical support. Our global branches provide our integrator partners with access to products and personnel quickly and efficiently. Additionally, our product ecosystems and platforms enable us to increase labor productivity by moving efficiencies upstream into the products themselves. For example, OvrC empowers technicians to deploy surveillance systems in up to half the time and enables fast Wi-Fi site setup with just a few clicks.
