West Kingston, RI–American Power Conversion (APC) will sponsor two upcoming Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) events. Organized by CEDIA, the new education program, CU On the Road, will bring training and certification to locations in the United States and Canada throughout the year. APC will sponsor the first CU On the Road event slated for February 8-11, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia, and another in Dallas, Texas, June 7-10, 2006.
“CEDIA is a prominent trade association for companies designing and installing home electronic components and systems,” said Joe Loberti, general manager of APC’s Consumer Network Solutions group. “APC values the opportunity to educate professionals working in the A/V field through our sponsorship of these educational programs. We look forward to demonstrating the importance of high quality power protection and how APC currently addresses the needs of residential electronics professionals and their customers.”
CEDIA University is comprised of five curricula, providing best practices, information and skills for residential electronic systems professionals.
