BlackWire Designs, a hybrid manufacturer and distribution resource for custom integrators, has opened its new Phoenix-based headquarters.

BlackWire Designs, a hybrid manufacturer and distribution resource for custom integrators, has opened its new Phoenix-based headquarters.

As a direct result of the company’s continued growth, the refreshed space boasts a variety of integrated scenes which allow dealers and prospective customers to experience first-hand how the BlackWire user interface, software and applications work seamlessly with control systems to create perfectly personalized automated spaces.

From 4:00-7:00 pm PST, area dealers are invited to participate in a guided tour of the new space, led by BlackWire founder, Kevin Luther. Throughout the event, integrators will have the opportunity to be the first to touch and “play” with an array of technology applications implemented throughout the office’s lobby, conference room and beyond. As guests walk the halls they are greeted by full Control4 commercial automation ranging from innovative lighting control, thermostats and integrated security features. The integrated lobby depicts a sports bar-style system that features the BlackWire user interface running on both a Control4 portable and in-wall touchscreen; both which provide one-touch control over a 4-TV video wall. Here, guests will receive a detailed look at the various applications and drivers available from BlackWire including the Quick Control product line which acts as an on-the-go interface for a variety of demanding commercial installations such as bars, restaurants, night clubs and more.

Additionally, an automated conference room includes a Cisco HD teleconference unit, 2 TVs and a Control4 touchscreen, all which highlight BlackWire’s boardroom integration solutions.

“At BlackWire, our focus is to make certain our dealers are comfortable with the way the products we deliver are built, function and can be integrated so that they receive maximize performance and real benefit out of each custom installation completed,” said Luther. “The decision to open a revitalized showroom was a direct result of our dedication to the custom channel. We’re thrilled to bring more options, bigger and better solutions and now an integrated demo space to our dealer network and look forward to continued growth across the automation industry.”

In addition to the showroom tour, BlackWire is pleased to welcome Ingo Schmodlt, vice president of sales at Fusion Research, who will be demoing and discussing the brand’s latest movie servers and music streamers. Additionally, Cary Christie, president of Intuitive Design, will be in-house, showcasing the manufacturer’s versatile mounting solutions.

BlackWire will also be unveiling the company’s new warehouse which is strategically set-up to increase efficiency and features a convenient will-call area enabling dealers with immediate access to the product and solutions they need, when they need them. The event will conclude with a networking cocktail hour where guests are encouraged to further explore the technology applications; members of the BlackWire team will be on hand to run additional demos and help dealers explore the brand further.

“We are constantly looking for ways to improve and enhance the relationship between dealers, manufacturers and distributors,” added Luther. “From our new integrated showroom and warehouse to our superior customer service, enhanced support, training and education we have pushed ourselves to evolve into a trusted resource for today’s CI dealer.”

The new BlackWire Designs headquarters is located at 23910 N 19th Ave, Suite 34 Phoenix AZ 85085; dealers interested in attending the grand opening can learn more and register via Eventbrite.
