St. Paul, MN — Capitol Sales Company’s new 506-page print catalog is now available and highlights several new enhancements from the previous year’s edition.
“Our dealers continue to provide us feedback on how our catalog can be a more useful tool for them,” said Curt Hayes, president and chief financial officer. “In the past five years, our catalog has grown in size by 50 percent with significant expansion of the product lines and products that we carry. Every year, we expand and enhance the popular catalog, and this year is no exception.”
Here is a summary of the catalog changes:
• The catalog is now laid out in 14 sections which are alphabetized and named similarly to the online categories. Each section includes a summary snapshot of the section including the vendors, table of contents within that section and changes from the previous year.
• Larger sections were divided to better match how dealers use the catalog. The new Structured Wiring section includes raceways, racks, enclosures, preconstruction kits, and wire and cable. The Interconnects and Trim Out section includes antennas, RF Distribution and cooling fans.
• Some accessory products have been listed twice in the catalog, like Preconstruction kits for speakers. These kits are listed with the speakers they are compatible with, and the entire list of preconstruction kits can also be found in the Structured Wiring section.
• Technical guide information has been woven throughout the catalog to help installers with technical questions such as how to size a TV for the space, how to calculate the projector screen viewing distance, where to place the projector in the room or how to size a projector screen.
