D-Tools Inc. will be demonstrating the latest release and upcoming enhancements to its System Integrator (SI) software platform in booth 3035 during CEDIA, taking place September 7–9, 2017 in San Diego. There, D-Tools will debut and demo its new Mobile Quote 2.0 iPad companion app, which helps salespeople develop scope and budget, and even generate quotes in the field.
D-Tools will also provide training and educational sessions focused on tools and ideas that help attendees streamline operations, automate business processes, and grow profitably. Lastly, as part of a special event open to all CEDIA attendees, D-Tools will preview its new Cloud-based platform.

Debuting early next year, D-Tools will provide an exclusive preview of its new Cloud-based platform and celebrate with CEDIA attendees in Booth 3035 at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017. New D-Tools Manufacturer Vantage Point (MVP) partner Totem Acoustic will sponsor the event, and the D-Tools team will be available to showcase new features, enhancements, and benefits of the company’s award-winning solutions. Redesigned for a more intuitive, effective, and visually impactful experience, D-Tools’ Mobile Quote 2.0 is a native iPad app that makes it easier to walk prospective clients through available technology options while generating a scope and budget for customer approval. The data collected is instantaneously transferred into D-Tools SI for further design development and project management. Leveraging D-Tools’ product library and workflow concepts, such as the specification of devices by location and system, Mobile Quote 2.0 allows salespeople to obtain signed approval of a project scope and budget, and even collect a design retainer, in the very first client meeting, thereby eliminating the competition as well as the need to waste valuable time on proposal revisions.
Stearns will teach two educational sessions during CEDIA 2017. “10 Tips Guaranteed to Improve Your Sales Performance and Results,” will take place Friday, September 8 from 8:30–9:30 a.m. at the San Diego Convention Center in room 30A. This course outlines ten insightful pointers on how to improve sales results, build more confidence as a salesperson, increase the quantity and profitability of contracts, and reduce wasted time and effort during the sales process.

A second session titled, “The Risks and Rewards of Mergers and Acquisitions,” takes place on Friday, September 8 from 1:00–2:30 p.m. in room 30E, and is intended to open doors to opportunity. This session will educate business owners on the merits of merging with or acquiring a company to accelerate the growth of their business and will help them understand why and when to initiate a transaction, and how to conduct the process effectively.

D-Tools will also offer a Manufacturers Training (MFT) session at CEDIA 2017 titled, “Create a Project in System Integrator (SI),” which will detail the process of starting a project with the company’s award winning software platform, SI 2017, to streamline a home technology professional’s business process and increase profitability. The session will take place Friday, September 8 from 12:00–1:30 p.m. in room 4. All CEDIA attendees are invited and, upon completion, will be rewarded 0.75 CTS credits.
