ELAN Adds Product Prize Incentives to Road Show

Lexington, KY — ELAN Home Systems with sister companies Sunfire, HomeLogic, and ATON, has added incentive for dealers attending its nearly 50-city “Takin’ It to the Streets” North American road show. The group will award more than $30,000 in product prizes.

“Takin’ It to the Streets” will kick-off with a pre-tour show co-located with the Spring 2009 EHX at The Orange County Convention Center, March 11-14, before officially hitting the road and taking more than 30 new products to the streets in late March. In direct response to dealers’ concerns regarding cutting down on travel expenses and show attendance, the companies have joined together in a creative way to bring all of the products and new opportunities directly to Dealers in their own backyards.

Similar to a manufacturer “line show,” the 2009 road show is designed to be the stage for one of the biggest product rollouts and new sales promotions of the year with a keen eye on saving dealers time and money.

Road show admission is free for dealers, with advance online registration, who will benefit from special tour-only selling promotions for all four of the Group’s brands. Dealers will also have the opportunity to win prizes onsite at each of the various tour stops and become eligible to win one of eight grand prizes comprised of major systems from each brand through drawings to be held at the close of the tour.

prizesSystems include a complete Sunfire 5.1 HRS Home Theater System, either an ELAN Home System or Sound Package, a HomeLogic fully loaded Mobile “iCool” Control package including an iPod touch, and an ATON Cat-5 Digital Audio System to be awarded at the conclusion of the tour. Four iPod touches, pre-loaded with the brand new HomeLogic Mobile Control App, will be also be awarded.

The EHX preview will include direct access to key company personnel and offer overviews and demos of the four brands’ new products. Dealers will also get a close look at the system giveaways that comprise the more than $30,000 in prizes that are designed to spark product interest, give back to the Dealers and get the latest technology into the hands of the people who be selling it.

All fully registered dealers confirmed in attendance at a show session will receive special discounts and buying plans as well as become eligible to win one of four state-of-the-art systems from ELAN, Sunfire, HomeLogic, and ATON.

Following the Orlando pre-shows, the tour will crisscross the country and include jaunts to Hawaii and Canada. The outreach will bring nearly 100 individual sessions to more than 30 states plus Canada. The tour commences on March 31 in Kansas City, Missouri, and will continue throughout the following months, ending on June 3 in Toronto, Canada. The tour will bring the collective brands’ technologies to venues that are all located within a short drive for roughly 90 percent of dealers.
