Home Entertainment Source (HES) has announced the addition of six new members to its network of more than 500 dealers nationwide.
“We are very proud to introduce these new members. They truly represent some of the best in the AV business, and we look forward to working with them to continue to be relevant to our suppliers,” said Andy Orozco, director of communications for HES. “It’s our dealer support programs and robust membership that allow us to continue to offer more and deeper member programs in conjunction with our manufacturer partners to attract first-class dealers like these. There isn’t another group out there that has the depth and breadth of our programs.”
The cadre of new members who joined the HES group in January/February of 2012 include:
Sound Sensations in Marietta, GA. With more than 34 years of experience, Sound Sensations is entering its fifth year in the home entertainment market. The company’s VP, Marc Vickers, looks forward to growing its presence in the residential AV market.
Matrix Installations in Chattanooga, TN. Matrix Installations, owned by Gerry King, has been a specialized custom integrator for more than 14 years, designing and installing sophisticated electronic solutions.
Tech Home Corp DBA Good Sounds in Boca Raton, FL. Good Sounds Home Theater has been designing, selling and integrating the finest in high-performance audiophile and home theater systems since 1994. A family-owned and operated retailer, Good Sounds brings owners Dean McGowan, Lauren Roberts, and director of sales Jim McGowan’s wealth of knowledge to the group.
Bethesda Systems in Bethesda, MD. This custom integrator has been serving Greater Washington since 2003.
Etech America in Englewood, NJ. A full-service integrator that serves the New Jersey/New York City metropolitan area, Etech specializes in home automation, AV installation, and hi-fi sales. They are authorized for many well-known brands like Crestron, Definitive Technology, and Klipsch.
Digitainment in San Marcos, CA. Digitainment, owned by Russ Stover, provides a value-driven home audio and video solution for the cost-conscious consumer. The company installs name-brand components carrying full manufacturers’ warranties.
“We are happy to be part of HES and look forward to taking advantage of as many group benefits as possible,” said Lauren Roberts, owner of Good Sounds Home Theater. “As an independent, it is extremely difficult to compete with the box stores. HES not only offers us better pricing on products like flat-panel TVs, but also has a wide array of business services that will add to our bottom line. Programs that offer discounts on bank-card processing, consumer finance and business insurance are just a few ways you can boost profits in a time where product margins are challenged.”
