With iPoint University, iPoint Control users—including administrators, sales representatives, project managers, technicians, billing managers, purchasing managers, and warehouse managers—receive specialized training designed to increase their expertise within the platform and strengthen their job performance. “iPoint University provides our customers with access to a dedicated online training resource that fits their business model and capitalizes on the feature-rich functions of iPoint Control. We are focused on enabling everyone within the company to receive training that specifically addresses their unique job functions inside the platform,” said Brooks Swift, founder and CEO of iPoint. “Looking ahead, iPoint University will offer formal business management training that will teach best practices for business operations. Along with our business manual, these courses will ensure consistent, seamless operations at every level.” The role-specific courses allow users to master the iPoint Control functions essential to their job and receive an overview of how their role fits into the business process as a whole without having to learn non-relevant functions. Each course within iPoint University takes two to three hours to complete, and users will be awarded an iPoint certificate upon completion. Company administrators can access and view the iPoint University activity of all their iPoint users, allowing them to ensure relevant job training has been successfully completed as well as find suggested cross training for employees with increasing job responsibilities. Currently, iPoint University offers training focused on the iPoint Control platform to streamline business operations and realize greater savings in time and operating costs. In the coming months, the company plans to add courses focused on all aspects of the AV business. The expansion will include specialized sales and technician training that can be used as a fundamental learning component for new hires.
