IPRO Conference Set for Fall

The IPRO Conference will take place in Long Beach, California on November 13-15.

Farmington Hills, MI–The Independent Professional Representatives Organization will hold its 14th annual IPRO Conference in Long Beach, California on November 13th-15th.

The organization, comprised of manufacturer’s representatives within the audio and video specialty electronics industry, has titled the conference: Successful Strategies for the Future. Organization members will gather at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel for seminars addressing steps for greater success in an evolving business landscape, as well as discussing plans for implementing the strengths of IPRO members as outsourced professional field sales organizations.

“IPRO’s annual conference gives us an open forum to collectively engage the challenges facing manufacturer’s representatives today,” said IPRO president, Andrew Ard. “Our members count on the event as a source of action items for timely implementation into their firms. Because this is the only organization specifically dedicated to their organizations within the A/V specialty industry, veteran and new members alike come away feeling invigorated by the idea-exchange. Based on the strength of this year’s program, I expect this 14th conference to be one of the best.”

Attendees at the 2004 IPRO Conference participate in panel discussions and hear speaker presentations focusing on effective means–both internal and business-to-business–for achieving lasting success. IPRO scheduled its conference to coincide with the Electronic House Expo in part to take advantage of the manufacturer presence there. IPRO has assembled a manufacturer panel with which IPRO members can exchange perspectives on relationship-building with these businesses. There will also be a separate dealer panel for improving representative-dealer interaction, and a review of the latest annual IPRO member survey results. In addition, several speakers will address a variety of topics including strategies for the changing expectations of representative firms, new marketing tools for increasing profitability, tailoring competitive benefits packages for attracting and retaining talented employees, and understanding the new IPRO member benefits available through IPRO’s new partnership with the Electronic Representatives’ Association (ERA).
