Livewire has continued to grow its footprint in Central Virginia with the recent acquisition of fellow Richmond-based integrator, Avico. As of June 17, all of Avico’s customers have been transferred to Livewire, who has assumed all day-to-day operations of the business.

Avico has been operating in the Greater Richmond area, Charlottesville, and Fredericksburg since 2017. Like Livewire, they specialize in residential and commercial technology systems such as distributed audio/video, home theater installation, lighting automation, home networking, security, and more.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported Avico over the past five years, it has been an exciting journey,” says Scott McNutt, the owner and operator of Avico. “I will be transitioning away from the industry to pursue some personal goals and projects, and I believe Livewire will continue to provide the same level of service I’ve provided since day one.”
