ProSource Adds Three New Lighting Category Vendors

Lighting and Shading Committee selects American Lighting, Inc., DMF Lighting, and WAC Lighting to join the group.

ProSource has announced the addition of three new lighting category vendors selected by the Lighting and Shading Committee to fuel further growth for the organization. The three new vendors are American Lighting, Inc., DMF Lighting, and WAC Lighting.

Founded in 1989, American Lighting, Inc. manufactures a wide range of lighting solutions for residential, commercial, and specialty lighting needs. The lighting solutions provider offers customers a broad line of lighting products. Continued innovation is a core strategic initiative at American Lighting, a company committed to developing new products by utilizing the latest lighting technologies and designs.

DMF Lighting designs and builds LED downlighting that sets the bar for flexibility, performance, and quality. The company’s in-house engineering team pushes the boundaries of lighting, constantly refining products and extending the modular system.

Founded in 1984, WAC Lighting has evolved into a global company that designs, engineers, and manufactures track, recessed, under cabinet, monorail, step and wall lights, and decorative lighting solutions. With a new sustainable LED collection, the product mix is available for residential, retail, hospitality, museum, and commercial applications.

In addition to reviewing and adopting vendor partners, the ProSource Lighting and Shading Committee assists in developing educational opportunities in the category, offering training and certification through the American Lighting Association. Fueling this growth category, David K. Warfel, an educator, author, and lighting designer practicing in architecture and experience design will present at the upcoming ProSource Summit. As additional resources, two of the ProSource district managers, Nicole Riddle and Samantha Summerfield, will also contribute their considerable expertise assisting members in the field.
