A Shade Above has appointed Robert Stearns to Vice President, with a focus on business development and helping manage the integration company’s operational growth.
Stearns has more than twenty years of experience in residential systems integration, having helped build Engineered Environments (now VIA International) from its inception in 1993.

A Shade Above is a residential systems integrator and shading specialist serving the San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey Peninsula, with an Experience Center in Monterey, CA. Founded by Ross Haisley and John Thomas in 2010, A Shade Above is Haisley and Thomas’s second business venture, having founded Peninsulators, one of the nation’s largest and most well respected commercial shading companies, more than thirty years ago.
