Vantage, On-Q/Legrand Raffle Pays Off for Lucky Integrators

Orlando, FL — Rick Horne, owner of Lighting & Control Partners in Sarasota, Florida, was the lucky winner of a 2009 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL883 raffled off by Vantage and On-Q/Legrand last Friday, March 13 at EHX Spring in Orlando.

Horne, a Vantage dealer for 14 years, received 10 tickets by attending a Vantage training at the show. “It just blew me away, I never expected it,” Horne said after being handed the keys by On-Q Legrand VP of marketing and product management. Dave Hanchette (right). “I was glad to win it, though, especially since I’m a strong believer in the Vantage product.”

A self-proclaimed “lighting control freak,” Horne said his customers love Vantage because it gives them “flexibility, reliability, and expandability.”

Horne is a motorcycle enthusiast, although this is his first Harley-Davidson. He mentioned that his wife also has her motorcycle license and has designs on the new Harley.

“Our mission at EHX Spring was to show our appreciation for our customers, and offer key training sessions,” said Doug Fikse, president of the Home Systems Division of Legrand. “I think at the end of the week we can safely say we accomplished our mission, and had a great time with our customers, too.”

The second prize winner of a leather Harley-Davidson jacket was Lisa Rouse from GBR Security Services Inc. in Jacksonville. Rouse has worked with On-Q/Legrand since beginning at the company years ago. According to Rouse, “The jacket fits perfectly, I love it!”

Both Vantage and On-Q/Legrand were also pleased with the attendance and effectiveness of the EHX training sessions. Each group offered trainings on key products as well as selling techniques.
