Annapolis, MD–Xperinet Inc. is providing a dealer program for its computer telephony exchange, the CTX 5000 Series.
Beginning in February, Xperinet authorized dealers have the option to forgo technical training on the new system and instead have Xperinet pre-configure systems to their customer’s specifications.
“The greatest challenge in selling any manufacturer’s phone system is staying current on the technology,” said Brian Linn, VP of operations for Xperinet. “Dealers spend big dollars to send employees to training, only to have them jump ship six months later. And custom installers don’t do the volume of installations necessary to maintain the proficiency that makes installation services profitable. We’re putting an end to all that.”
Dealers will complete a configuration form on-line with their customer to develop the initial design. Once installed by the dealer, the customer will have 45 days to request changes without assessment of any additional fee.
Thereafter, customers may choose to purchase a service agreement that includes unlimited re-configuration services, or they may pay for changes on an as-needed basis. Thanks to advanced remote-administration technology built into the CTX, Xperinet technical support personnel can easily make changes to the system once installed at the site.
