Nakamichi Adds Shockwafe 7.1 and 7.2 eARC Soundbars to Lineup

Both models come with Spatial Surround Elevation (SSE) MAX technology, upgraded speaker drivers and amplifier hardware, and Qualcomm aptX HD.

Nakamichi partnered with existing Shockwafe SSE owners to develop its 2022 Shockwafe lineup, leading with the flagship launch of the Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 eARC back in March. Now, the release of the Pro 7.1 eARC and Elite 7.2 eARC completes the lineup.

Shockwafe Pro 7.1 eARC

The Shockwafe Pro 7.1 eARC ($899.99) delivers bass from a fully boosted, 10-inch, high-output subwoofer, with a peak power output of up to 300 watts, delivering bass notes as low as 30 Hz. Every speaker in the system is upgraded. The custom designed extended range twin-cone drivers and silk dome tweeters deliver lifelike, true 360-degree cinema surround with full-bodied dialog. The Shockwafe Pro 7.1 eARC also incorporates high output amplifiers capable of delivering up to 850 watts of total system power, enveloping its listeners with a cinema experience as loud as 108 dB SPL.

Shockwafe 7.2 eARC

Taking inspiration from the multiple subwoofers configuration popularized by cinemas, the Shockwafe 7.2 eARC ($1299.99) comes with dual 8-inch high-output subwoofers. These elevated subwoofers evenly pressurize the room with intense low frequency energy. The 450-watt subwoofer power output will turn the entire room into a sweet spot, delivering immense shockwaves of palpable subterranean bass as low as 25 Hz.

Like its smaller cousin, the Shockwafe Elite 7.2 eARC comes with upgraded custom designed extended range twin-cone drivers and silk dome tweeters, projecting a large sound capsule that transports its listeners to the center of the action.

With up to 1000 watts of accessible power generated by its high-output amplifiers, the Shockwafe 7.2 eARC is capable of up to 110 dB of cinema sound.
