Origin Acoustics Ships Performance Subwoofer Line

Promises more volume and lower frequencies in a smaller cabinet.

Origin Acoustics is now fully stocked and shipping its new line of Performance Subwoofers. These powered subwoofers combine petite cabinets with powerful digital amplification.

The new Performance Subwoofer series deliver more volume and lower frequencies that all sits in a smaller cabinet. The line features three floorstanding models with 8-, 10-, and 12-inch driver configurations. Rated for 180, 200, and 300 watts RMS, respectively, the new models are named the SUBV8P, SUBV10P, and SUBV12P.

Each composite woofer matches a finely tuned passive down-firing radiator that improves SPL and the resolution of extended bass frequencies and volume with no extra power consumption, according to Origin Acoustics.

These models also feature an upgraded line-grain finish that is more durable and subtler than typical vinyl wraps.

These subwoofers are available now to any approved Origin Acoustics integration firm at U.S. MSRPs of $500, $700, and $900.
