Channel Vision has added four Multimedia Cable Amplifiers for Wide Band CATV systems.

The CVT-2/8WB amplified splitter provides 8 ports for multiple TVs.

The new amplifiers are compatible with a wide range of cable systems. Designed for residential use, installers can use them with standard cable boxes, digital cable boxes, and newer multimedia cable requiring wider bandwidths, including advanced fiber optic networks such as Verizon’s FiOS system.

The CVT-2/8WB and C-0333 are amplified splitters that provide 8 ports for multiple TVs, including HDTV cable boxes or cable modems to boost signal strength. Their low signal to noise ratio circuit ensures a perfect picture for HDTV, digital, or analog televisions. The built-in modulator input allows locally generated channels from DVD players, satellite receivers, digital cable boxes, and surveillance cameras when used with Channel Vision’s RF modulators. The CVT-2/8WB is designed to mount anywhere, while the C-0333 can snap directly into a structured wiring enclosure.

The CVT-15WB and C-0317 are 15dB amplifiers designed for standard and advanced CATV systems. They allow for 2-way communication in the RF spectrum from 5-42MHz and 975-1525MHz, along with standard cable TV specifications. The CVT-15WB is designed to mount anywhere, while the C-0317 can snap directly into a structured wiring enclosure.
