PSB Speakers introduced several new models this month at CEDIA EXPO in Indianapolis, covering an array of applications for home theater, high performance audio, outdoor and lifestyle listening.

The introductions by PSB demonstrate the company’s capabilities in new categories such as outdoor speakers and headphones.
Available this fall, PSB will release the M4U 2 Headphones. The company’s first ever headphone features a built-in amplifier and active noise control. It runs easily on battery power, but for convenience, also works in passive mode without batteries or power. Other features of the M4U 2 are a tangle-free cord and gyro-suspended ear pads. Easy folding for travel and storage, the PSB headphone comes standard with a semi-hard travel case.
The newest member of PSB’s subwoofers is the SubSeries 200, available now. Boasting a 150W Class D amplifier and 10-inch woofer with polypropylene cone, the SubSeries 200 is suited for home theater as well as high performance audio. The driver is configured in a down firing, bass reflex port design for high efficiency and ease of placement. For convenience, volume, crossover and phase controls of the PSB sub are front mounted and the unit offers both high and low level inputs.
The Imagine mini series features advanced technology from the Synchrony Series.
Following on the heels of the CS1000, the CS500 is a more affordable, compact outdoor speaker intended for smaller areas, available this fall. A two-way system with a 5.25-inch woofer and 1-inch Titanium dome tweeter in a sealed acoustic suspension design, CS500 is a high performance speaker designed to be impervious to the elements. It comes supplied with an adjustable wall-mount bracket that maximizes placement options for vertical or horizontal mounting and 2-axis rotation.
The newest and smallest member of the company’s Imagine Series, the Imagine Mini features advanced technology from the Synchrony Series, trickled down to mini’s under $1k per pair price point.
Matching stands, custom brackets and choice of designer colors/finishes allow mini to work in virtually any home environment. Mini is available in a choice of black ash, dark cherry or walnut in furniture-grade wood veneers at $760 per pair MSRP. Also available are the premium high gloss black or high gloss white finishes for $830 per pair.
