Ajax Systems held its fifth Ajax Special Event — an online presentation of new devices and software capabilities. In it, Ajax Systems introduced video surveillance devices with an innovative approach to privacy. Among them are video cameras TurretCam, BulletCam, and DomeCam Mini. Also presented was a network video recorder, Ajax NVR, which ensures the interaction of Ajax systems and video surveillance, as well as a new integration with Yale smart locks.
Cameras
TurretCam, BulletCam, and DomeCam Mini embody Ajax’s distinctive design. Each camera model is equipped with one of four configurations: a lens with a viewing angle of 85 or 110 degrees and a resolution of 3K or 4K. Each Ajax camera adapts to changing lighting thanks to True WDR technology, which uses hardware and software to correct uneven lighting in challenging environments, frame by frame, in real time.
The cameras are also equipped with a digital microphone that uses a special noise-reduction system. In addition, all cameras comply with the IP65 protection class, so they can withstand harsh weather conditions.
The cameras transmit system events seamlessly thanks to Ajax Cloud. Proprietary JetSparrow technology provides fast peer-to-peer video data transfer. AI analysis enables cameras to detect and recognize different types of objects, including people, vehicles, and pets. Thanks to this, the video surveillance system is able to record only important events, saving disk space.
Users can also adjust pixel motion detection to optimize the archive and define zones so that the recording starts only when there is movement in them. And to make surveillance as selective as possible, you can turn on the cameras only when the system is under protection.
All versions of the TurretCam, BulletCam, and DomeCam Mini are now available for order.
NVR
The interaction of Ajax systems and video surveillance will be ensured by Ajax NVR. It integrates with the Ajax video surveillance system, synchronizing with the entire Ajax ecosystem. Wide compatibility allows almost any IP camera to be integrated into the automation and intrusion protection system.
The NVR is now available to order.
Integration with Yale
Ajax Systems has announced an integration with Yale. Users will be able to control and automate the Yale smart lock directly from the Ajax app. This will be possible thanks to the instant connection to the cloud through the Yale Home API, which will ensure seamless and secure communication with each Ajax system.
Among the first Yale smart locks integrated with Ajax are the most popular models:
- Yale Linus
- Yale Doorman V2N / Classic
- Yale Doorman L3S
Ajax Systems will soon launch a pilot integration with Yale in Norway, Sweden, Italy, and Spain, and later plans to expand it to the U.S., Canada, and other countries.
