Epson has introduced the new Home Cinema LS5000, LS6000, and LS7500 4K HDR laser projectors, which are powered by its 3-Chip 3LCD technology. Designed to make it easier for DIY home theater enthusiasts to upgrade from older lamp-based projectors or create a new big-screen entertainment experience in any home setting, the new lineup complements Epson’s established Home Cinema projector portfolio, including the flagship Home Cinema LS11000 4K HDR 3-Chip 3LCD Laser Projector. Together, Epson now offers a complete Home Cinema 4K HDR projector lineup with solutions designed for a wide range of home entertainment spaces and viewing preferences.
Powered by an advanced Epson Picture Processor and a proprietary 4K Display Technology that produces a full 8.29-million-pixel on-screen image, plus a unique 3-Chip 3LCD projection engine powered by a laser array light source, the new models produce 2500 to 3500 lumens of equal Color Brightness (IDMS Rated) and White Brightness (ISO Rated).
The Home Cinema LS5000 and LS6000 use a high-quality Epson Cinema lens, while the Home Cinema LS7500 features a unique short-throw lens that allows the projector to be positioned a few feet closer to the wall than conventional projectors. Plus, with support for multiple aspect ratios — from 16:9 HDTV to cinematic 21:9 — the new projectors deliver an immersive viewing experience that standard TVs simply can’t match.
A compact, whisper-quiet design with front-exiting airflow and wide-range manual lens shift provide greater placement flexibility, while dual HDMI ports support 4K HDR content up to 120 Hz for smooth, ultra-clear movies, sports, and gaming. In addition, high refresh rates and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) further reduce input lag and screen tearing to ensure responsive gameplay.
