WASP Audio is now shipping all three of its 2.1 systems: the LINK-Mount for On-Wall speakers; the LINK-Plate for in room speakers, and the LINK-InWall for in-wall, in-ceiling and outdoor speakers.

Each 2.1 System uses WASP proprietary Tri-Band Wireless technology. The transmitter by design works in three selectable Uncompressed wireless bands: 2.4GHz, 5.2GHz, or 5.8GHz.
“This allows the Custom Integrator to choose the appropriate wireless band based on existing wireless environment and system application. This also allows for multiple transmitters to be used within the same environment to further enhance system expansion,” said Tschirpke. “Each transmitter accepts selectable Low Level or High Level (speaker level) Inputs via high quality gold plated terminals. Another nice feature is a selectable Subwoofer input. If your source (receiver, pre-amp, whole house audio device, etc…) has a subwoofer output just simply connect to the WASP transmitter. If not, the transmitter will sum your 2 channel (L+R) input and transmit the summed signal to the WASP receivers allowing you to use your subwoofers cross-over. There is also a convenient 3.5mm Stereo Input Jack on the front panel for a quick connection of any portable media device. There is no switching needed just plug it in and the rear panel inputs are automatically shut-off, unplug and the the rear panel jacks are on.
