Q&A with Gordon Isaac, chief marketing and strategy officer, Origin Acoustics.
Why CEDIA Expo 2022?
Origin has always been a supporter of the CEDIA Expo. The expo is a great opportunity for us to spend time with our customers, and potential customers, to show them that we care about their business and get their feedback. There is also no better place to show our customers and the industry how we continue to innovate and create meaningful categories and product solutions. This year will be no different.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
I think we are going to see more focus on various lighting categories, fixtures, and low voltage, along with an increase in design-centric solutions. With record sales and a year gap for many of the vendors from the last time they attended, it will be great to see what everyone has been working on.
What will you focus on at the show?
When Origin Acoustics launched eight years ago, the industry didn’t think they needed another speaker company. We showed them we weren’t just another speaker company and quickly grew to one of the largest architectural brands in the world. Since then, we’ve been evolving and what you will see us focus on is that evolution and what that means for our customers. Stay tuned!
