Q&A with Doug Greenwald, owner of ProjX360.
Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo 2024?
CEDIA is our main customer demographic for ProjX360 and is the biggest show for us every year. Nowhere else can you get active demos of custom residential AV and smart home products and services at this level. For us, it’s about capturing the attention of potential new customers. The beauty of ProjX360 is that it scales with our customers as they grow.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
ProjX360 is for integrators, by integrators, and that’s very true. I have my own integration business, Creative Sound & Integration, and CEDIA is where we get to see burgeoning technology that eventually might find its way into our clients’ homes. I’m excited to see advancements in voice control, LED video walls, and lighting. We install a lot of Crestron systems, so we like to check out what’s new with them, too!
What will you focus on at the show?
We will be displaying our new V3 version of the software, which is twice as fast as previous versions and has a gorgeous new user interface. We will also be giving a sneak peek of the new proposal enhancements we are working on. Our new proposal builder UI will be the first proposal software that lets the user choose from three different UI builders to create proposals. Users will be able to select which they like best. They can even start in one builder and finish the proposal in another. It’s super exciting and we think it is going to be very well received by current and future clients! We’ll be rolling out other new proposal enhancements over the next six to eight months as we complete them.
Whether they’ve heard about us or not, we usually draw a nice crowd when people get a glimpse of our demos. Software isn’t as exciting as, say, a surround-sound demo, but we try to keep it entertaining! We invite everyone who is interested in elevating their project management experience and creating more efficient business processes to visit us at booth #728. We love talking with our existing customers and getting in-person feedback on what is working for them and how we can improve.
