Q&A with Hagan Kappler, co-founder and CEO, Daisy.

Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025?
Our favorite part of building this company has been meeting owners, salespeople, and technicians at the various dealers and integrators across the company. What better place to engage and get to know more people in the industry than at our own CEDIA Expo booth? We have tried to get the word out about who we are and what we are up to, but by bringing over 20 people from our company, we feel this will be the best way to share directly who we are, what we offer, how integrators could partner with us, and how we could potentially help.

What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
Consolidation: We believe our industry is going to see more and more interest from investors in the coming years, just as other home services have seen over the past 10 and 20 years. We are happy to share best practices with integrators on how to best position their businesses to realize the most value.

Service: We have seen incredible promise in the value of ongoing service ($100K annual customer value) and customer satisfaction (NPS average of 80) from our pilots. While previous industry efforts have made strides, we believe there’s still untapped potential to fully meet customers’ service needs. We believe our approach not only helps customers but also will drive immense bottom-line growth to integrators.

What will you focus on at the show?
We’re really looking forward to meeting, connecting, and networking with owners and their teams to get to know more people in the industry, and share more about Daisy. Our booth will be a fun place for dealers to kick back and try a hand at blackjack (at stakes), grab a latte (or a cocktail) or an appetizer, and catch up with friends new and old.
