Origin Acoustics has announced the acquisition of Ambisonic Systems.
Ambisonic Systems, the Lake Havasu City, AZ, manufacturer of performance luxury pro and residential loudspeaker systems, was founded in 2009 by industry pioneer Jeffery Coombs. Ambisonic Systems specializes in high-output, audiophile-quality sound reinforcement loudspeakers. With over 64 years of experience in designing professional and high-end loudspeakers — specializing in ribbon-line arrays — the company’s engineering team is known for its innovative concepts, breakthrough products, and great sounding speakers.
Ambisonic Systems has spent years producing pro audio gear and has now taken the lessons learned in that industry and distilled it into its first residential speaker, the Landscape Ribbon Six. The LS6 landscape loudspeaker touts a proprietary weatherized high-dispersion ribbon tweeter, 2.7-inch magnetic planar tweeter, exotic materials, and more.
