McIntosh Extends Consumer Trade-UP Program

McIntosh customers can upgrade audio amplifiers through September.

Binghamton, NY–McIntosh Laboratory has extended its Trade-UP consumer incentive program through September 30, 2007. The program, originally announced in mid-July, gives owners of all McIntosh amplifiers — regardless of the products age — an easy way to upgrade their current McIntosh components to newer models.

By visiting participating McIntosh dealers, consumers may trade in any McIntosh Multi-Channel, 2-Channel or Monoblock Amplifier and receive 75 percent of its original MSRP toward a brand new current model McIntosh Power Amplifier.

Bob Weissburg, president of McIntosh parent company D&M Holdings North America, noted, At a time when the consumer electronics marketplace is crowded with many brands competing with declining average selling prices, McIntosh continues to stand apart in creating high-performance luxury products that not only stand the test of time, but actually retain, and often even increase in value. The fact that people are bringing in their beautifully functioning 20- and 30-year old McIntosh amplifiers to our dealers across the country and trading up for newer models literally proves this point.

By extending our Trade-UP program, were not only rewarding our customers for their loyalty and support, but were communicating and underscoring the unique value equation that high-quality McIntosh products offer to discriminating home entertainment enthusiasts everywhere.

McIntosh is promoting the Trade-UP Program offer on its web site and is encouraging its participating dealers to do the same on their web sites. This offer is valid only in the U.S. and Canada.

To qualify for the program, all trade-ins must be functional and maintain their original design.
