Benicia, CA — According to a press release sent to the industry on June 22, NHT (Now Hear This) is returning from its “gone fishing” sabbatical with new web-based sales approach.
The announcement from NHT co-founder Chris Byrne, said that the company was back from its self-imposed sabbatical, with “a healthy brand and new direction for making our products available to consumers.”
Beginning this month, Byrne said, NHT will be entirely web-based, which has “fundamentally changed” the way the company will market its brand.
“By going direct, we were able to permanently reduce the price of our speakers by as much as 30 percent from their original suggested retail,” Byrne said. “Consumers can now buy NHT factory direct or continue to purchase through their favorite authorized retailers and installers.”
According to Byrne, no matter where NHT’s products are purchased, they will be shipped direct to the consumer from their warehouse. “We think this just makes sense,” Byrne said. “The speakers take a single trip, saving energy, money, and time. Everybody wins.”
As part of the process, NHT has redirected resources toward new product development for a broader assortment of applications. “We have about eight concepts in process right now,” Byrne noted.
He added that NHT’s web business is designed to grow and evolve, and there is more change and adjustment yet to come.
