At next month’s U.S. CEDIA EXPO, OmniMount is launching its New Classic Series line of fixed, tilt, and cantilever mounts to its ever-expanding lineup. The mounts provide installers a new design and improved functionality that offer perfect, smooth movement.
Putting a fresh spin on an old favorite, the New Classic Series provides fixed, tilt, and cantilever mounts with improved functionality and a new, clean look. The series is a complete line that consists of two fixed (NC80F, NC200F), two tilt (NC80T, NC200T), and five cantilever (NC30C, NC80C, NC100C, NC125C, NC200C) mounting solutions, accommodating almost any flat panel and any application.
The most notable new feature is the frictionless Delrin washers at every joint in four of the five cantilevers, giving installers and end users the benefit of smooth movement from its very first use (due to its size, the NC30C doesn’t feature this benefit). An improved locking system secures the flat panel to the mount and provides easier behind-the-panel access. The series also features low mounting profiles, as well as single stud, 4-point solid wall and double stud mounting, depending on the mount.
The New Classic Series’ fixed and tilt mounts offer a space-saving benefit that uses less material, and universal rails provide greater flat panel compatibility. Installation is simple, as the mounts boast a sliding lateral on-wall adjustment and an open-architecture design that provides easy access to in-wall wiring. Rail hooks are padded to avoid metal-on-metal contact and reduce vibrations. End caps cover locking hardware and present a clean side view. The NC80F and NC80T accommodate most flat panels from 23 to 42 inches and up to 80 pounds, while the NC200F and NC200T fit most flat panels from 37 to 63 inches and up to 200 pounds.
The five cantilever mounts in the New Classic Series feature a patent-pending, 4-bar tilt mechanism for effortless adjustment and extruded aluminum arms for maximum support in a lightweight mount. Streamlined arms are designed to nest for a compact mounting profile. Each cantilever tilts, pans and swivels -5 degrees to 15 degrees to reduce glare and create an optimal viewing scenario. The span of all five cantilever mounts support most small to extra large flat panels ranging from 23 to 70 inches and weights from 30 to 200 pounds.
As with all OmniMount flat panel mounts, the New Classic Series features OmniMount’s exclusive Lift n’ Lock technology for quick and easy installation along with an integrated cable management system for concealing wiring. Each mount comes equipped with an installation template for simple and accurate mounting along with a complete hardware kit.
