ProSource Releases ‘What’s Up ProSource’ Podcast

New industry podcast features interviews with ProSource members, vendor partners, industry insights, and more.

ProSource Podcast

ProSource has released its first-ever podcast for the custom integration channel: What’s Up ProSource. It is now available on all major podcasting platforms — including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Amazon Music, and Spotify — and will start as a monthly program. What’s Up ProSource will feature interviews with ProSource members, vendor partners, industry insights, and more.

“I felt like maybe it would be interesting to start a podcast to bring some of these insights that you might not normally hear in a normal event or a normal conversation with your rep,” ProSource CEO Jim Pearse says during the first episode of the podcast. “We’re going to be very disciplined as we work on content for the podcast. My hope is we can earn your listenership by having interesting conversations and interesting information that can help your business as we move into 2024.”

Listen to the first three episodes now:

  • Episode 1: Listen to Jim Pearse speak about what to expect from the podcast and hear his interview with Savant president JC Murphy. Listen to Murphy talk about the future of Savant and their latest category: power.
  • Episode 2: Check out what Screen Innovations is up to, featuring CEO Kim Parker. Parker sits down with ProSource CEO Jim Pearse at the Screen Innovations headquarters in Austin, Texas. Parker discusses the operational improvements at SI that have been made over the last few years, including how they overcame the challenges they faced in quality, production, and staffing.
  • Episode 3: An Interview with Troy Dunnington, owner of Lightworks. In this episode, Dunnington talks about the story behind Lightworks and the evolution of his business as he found his niche in the industry. Dunnington provides some great insight on how to run a successful business in the ever-changing custom integration industry.
