Skyworth is giving consumers and custom integrators more choice in style and aesthetic luxury in the growing “Art TV” category with its partnership with Chicago area-based custom frame manufacturer hydroframes. Through the partnership, hydroframes. will create customizable wood and plastic-molded frames for Skyworth’s Canvas and Canvas Elite Art TV lines. All frames will be sourced and manufactured by hydroframes. in the Chicago area. The frames will be available in black, silver, gold, white, and walnut. Custom integrators will also be able to work directly with hydroframes. to create customized frames in any pattern or color to suit individual client needs.
The Skyworth collaboration marks hydroframes. official launch and first commercial partnership. All frames are produced at the company’s Chicago-area facility, where an advanced hydrographics water-transfer printing process allows virtually any pattern or color to be applied to a finished surface. The facility also operates an automated CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine that uses pre-programmed software to perform precision milling, turning, and drilling.
To make the installation process simple and seamless, the wood frames will have hidden magnetic fasteners that easily attach to a Skyworth Canvas TV’s existing bezel, while the plastic frames will fit perfectly over the existing bezel.
