New Distributor Debuts in Southern California

The AV Source opens six locations for custom installers.

Los Angeles, CA — The AV Source, with six distribution locations throughout the Southern California region, now gives installers instant access to audio, video and custom installation equipment for their clients with just-in-time (J.I.T.) service.

Joseph Kim with The AV Source said, We developed the idea by paying attention to the needs of independent AV dealers and contractors over the last several years to see where they were vulnerable and whether we could create a service to give them a competitive advantage. We found it in the (J.I.T) equipment supply area.

The AV Source focuses on getting away from doing business the old way making a sale, then delaying the installation until needed equipment that was not in stock arrives or attempting to locate the gear through a number of places. Instead, Kim said, installers and custom businesses need product delivery right when they need it and theyll go to the dealer who can make that happen.

Our dealer partners want to compete the new waythe smart way, Kim added. They want to grow business by being that clients hero who sells a job, easily and quickly accesses the equipment, and gets that job done in a timely and efficient manner.

With The AV Source, the pressure on dealers to stockpile equipment is eliminated. Six process-oriented distribution locations take care of that, making equipment available near any job when needed most.

A Grand Opening open house will be held August 11-15, 2008 in all locations. All AV installers and business owners are invited to visit during the grand opening week to meet our staff and see firsthand the difference between a traditional distributor and The AV Source.

The AV Sources six Southern California locations are Orange County, Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, San Diego, Northern San Diego County, and Palm Desert.
