Q&A with Gary Blouse, vice president of sales – North America, StormAudio.
Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025?
CEDIA is an important platform for StormAudio to showcase the DNA of our brand: innovation, performance, and partnership. Beyond simply displaying our products, the show allows attendees to experience the difference StormAudio makes, whether it’s the clarity of our immersive sound formats or the flexibility of our solutions.
It also gives us the opportunity to strengthen relationships. Meeting face-to-face with our dealers and integrators allows us to better understand their needs. We also use this time to collaborate closely with our sales representatives, whose expertise and insights are crucial to our continued growth and to ensuring StormAudio solutions are represented in the best possible way worldwide.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
The momentum behind home cinema is undeniable, and I think 2025 is the year it will take the spotlight at CEDIA Expo. We anticipate more emphasis on dedicated theater environments than ever before with larger demo theaters and a wave of solutions designed to make high-performance cinema accessible in a wider variety of spaces, from compact media rooms to hybrid, mixed-use environments.
What will you focus on at the show?
This year, we’ll be highlighting our scalable solutions. Whether you’re designing a small, intimate home theater or a massive, no-compromise “reference” cinema, we have solutions that adapt to their needs while maintaining the same level of precision and reliability we’re known for.
Our demos this year are must-see experiences. In Sound Room 6 and Sound Room 7, attendees will witness ambitious system configurations, featuring jaw-dropping channel counts (15.7.8 and 14.18.10), monumental infrasonic subwoofers capable of delivering sound you can feel as much as hear, and our latest generation of room correction technology. This combination delivers a level of realism and impact that simply has to be experienced in person.
