In our series of #CEDIAShares blogs, we’re talking with exhibitors about the hottest technologies and trends they’re looking to see at CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025.

Q&A with Mark Corbin, president at Vanco International.

Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025?
CEDIA Expo gives us the opportunity to connect directly with the residential integration community — and to show what sets Vanco apart. We don’t just offer a broad catalog; we engineer solutions that address the specific challenges our dealers face every day in the field. Whether it’s an audio matrix process with analog and digital I/Os, an AVoIP platform that doesn’t require a networking degree to configure, or outdoor audio gear that’s as easy to install as it is to sell, we focus on making the job faster, cleaner, and more profitable.

Vanco’s value isn’t in any single product. It’s in how the entire ecosystem — infrastructure, distribution, control, and audio — is purpose-built to work together on the same job site. We’re designing exactly what residential integrators need to deliver high-performance systems without unnecessary complexity. Beyond that, we have everything they need — from mounts to batteries — to fully spec out a project. At CEDIA, we’re there to listen, to support, and to show how our lineup simplifies ordering and installations and strengthens our partners’ bottom line.

What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
We’re seeing the residential market embrace more commercial-grade thinking — and light commercial projects — and that’s a meaningful shift. The rise of AVoIP in residential, demand for HDMI 2.1 and 8K-capable infrastructure, and the need for flexible, zone-based audio control all point toward a new “resimercial” standard. Integrators are designing with scalability, control, and long-term performance in mind. Homeowners may not be asking for 8K explicitly, but they are expecting systems that won’t be obsolete in two years. We anticipate conversations at CEDIA will center around smarter prewiring, real-world bandwidth planning, and how to build immersive experiences without going overboard on hardware. That’s where Vanco thrives, we’re delivering infrastructure and control that future-proofs the project without overcomplicating the install.

What will you focus on at the show?
At CEDIA 2025, we’re focused on showing how Vanco delivers complete solutions across the full AV ecosystem. That means infrastructure products like certified HDMI 2.1 ultra-thin cables, long-range extenders, and USB-C extenders with built in KVM for gaming enthusiasts and home offices alike.

We’ll also demo EVO-IP 2.0, our next-generation AVoIP platform — offering eARC/ARC, KVM, fiber support, and simplified network configuration, all engineered to make scalable video distribution accessible for residential projects. On the audio side, we’ll spotlight the Beale Street line, from architectural to outdoor speakers, powered by flexible amps like the BAV2500 with built-in DSP and browser-based setup, as well as our new Beale Street Audio BAMX88 pre-amps, with built-in DSP and optional ARC support.

Whether you’re outfitting a home theater, an outdoor living space, or building a fully digital, network-based smart home, Vanco equips integrators with a fully compatible suite of tools. Fewer vendors, fewer variables, and more reliable results.
