Dana Innovations, parent company of Sonance, iPort, and TRUFIG, has appointed Darren Kolotyuk as director of sales west.

Darren has spent the last 20 years in the custom installation industry. His first experience with the Sonance brand came in 1992, establishing a custom installation branch of an established retailer. After successfully positioning custom installation in the Alberta marketplace, Darren relocated to Vancouver and spent time as a Canadian territory manager for Bang & Olufsen and Lenbrook Canada. Most recently, Darren spent 9 years working as the national sales director at Trends Electronics, the Dana Innovations distributor in Canada.
“Darren’s leadership, experience, knowledge, and passion for our company, strategy, and products is unrivaled,” said Jason Sloan, chief sales officer. “His hands-on work in both the CI industry and the Canadian specification market make him the ideal fit for the position.”
Darren will be responsible for all aspects of Dana Innovations sales in the western U.S.
