Indy Audio Labs, owner of the Acurus and Aragon high-performance audio electronics brands, has appointed Richard Henthorne as senior director of global sales. Acurus and Aragon distributors, reps, and dealers will be supported by and interface directly with Henthorne on a day-to-day basis.
Henthorne’s appointment reflects IAL’s strategic commitment to enhancing its leadership team and driving sustainable growth across its residential and commercial segments both in the U.S. and internationally.
Based in Houston, Texas, Henthorne is a lifelong audiophile. From a young age he was fascinated by music and was engaged in a constant pursuit for better-sounding audio. Henthorne has deep knowledge in audio from both the custom integration side of the business as well as the professional sound reinforcement side. Henthorne’s deep business knowledge originates from years of experience as both a manufacturer’s consultant for several high-performance brands and a business owner, having successfully run his own custom electronics installation business. As a result, Henthorne brings to the Indy Audio Labs team an extraordinarily high-level of product knowledge along with empathy for customer needs.
