SnapAV has begun shipping its new Evolution Series subwoofers.
Expanding on the Cub Series that it replaces, the new Evolution subwoofer line features six, eight, ten, and twelve inch sealed models that offer a small footprint with piano-gloss finish and flush mounted grille.
“As we continue to grow the Episode line, we wanted to give dealers more of what they loved about our Cub Sub,” said Mike Jordan, vice president of product for Episode Speakers. “These Evolution products are just that – an evolution of what we bring to the subwoofer table, with compact designs that deliver a big performance and with the tight, punchy bass you want from a sealed enclosure. It’s the best of both worlds.”
The new line also features the company’s exclusive DRiVE Class-D amplifier that is up to 60 percent more efficient than analog designs, custom-built woven fiberglass drivers, ribbed surround, and signal-sensing power-on. Crossover and Phase Controls make these subs completely customizable for any application.
The Evolution Series subs are offered in piano-gloss black (optional white gloss in the six and eight inch models), and retail starting at $299.99.
